Raw crystals of the world: a travel-inspired jewelry collection
Ever since I was a little girl, I loved making jewelry for my family, crafting little treasures from clay, pearls, and paper, letting my creativity flow freely. However, as I grew older and entered high school, academic pressures pushed my creative pursuits aside.
Yet, deep inside, I knew I wasn’t meant for a conventional path. Driven by a desire to escape a life confined to unsatisfying jobs, I began to travel and explore the world at the age of 20. Travel reawakened the childlike curiosity within me. I experienced the “free life” of Asia, living in South Korea for a year before exploring Vietnam, Cambodia, and finally arriving at a small tropical island in the Philippines called Siargao. It was here, among its kind and warm-hearted community, that I first envisioned a different life—a life of freedom, where every day could start with the ocean, surfing, fresh mangos, and teaching English to local children. This profound connection inspired the first piece in our new collection—the Larimar Ring Siargao.
Throughout my life, I’ve viewed my experiences as chapters—defined not just by the places I’ve visited, but by those that deeply touched my heart and helped me grow. These special places allowed me to peel back layers of conditioning, revealing my true self. Without these places, I would never be where I am today, nor would I be as excited and proud to share these stories and connect them to the crystals I collected on my travels.
There are many places that have touched my heart, but a few special ones inspired the new collection, Rawnd the World. This collection is a tribute to my love for everything raw, authentic, organic, and natural—not overly modified by human hands, but rather just an expression of nature. And nature is where all wisdom lies.
We can read thousands of books, but true wisdom and insight come when we are fully in touch with the nature within our hearts and the infinite nature that always surrounds and nurtures us. When was the last time you visited a forest just to really BE there—without distractions, books, phones—just feeling the power of the forest and how the force of nature can heal you?
This is the story behind this collection. It has always been about nature; she has given me so many insights, healed me; from the blue waters of Siargao that washed over me daily, let me flow, and allowed me to move so much emotion through my body; to the magical island of Bali, which connected me in so many dimensions, really opened my eyes and showed me that we are so much more than our eyes can see; all the way to the mystical lands of Guatemala, the volcanoes, so powerfully connected with the heart of the Earth. The fire from within, that touched my heart so much, that I just felt such a deep connection to myself, to my core, to my centre.
It is because of these powerful places that I am where I am today, and this collection is a thank you note to all these magical lands that keep loving and giving.
Many of Solspel’s stones are naturally found in these places and are unmined—around 50% of the stones were found by myself or loved ones in nature. This is how I’m working with nature, not against it, taking a little of what she gives without digging deeper and asking for more.
Improved quality based on your recommendations and 3 years of experience!
The whole design process of the new Rawnd the world collection is improved in a way that makes it more comfortable to wear anywhere, at all times.
Check out these design improvements:
- the shapes are thicker and more comfortable to wear, designed in a very organic way that follows more the natural shape of our fingers. There is more silver used for each ring than in the old collection, for example.
- the way that the metal is wrapping the stone is also more organic, raw and safer. The metal is protecting the raw crystal from breaking and holding it secure in the design.
- The gold later on the Gold Vermeil rings is thicker as well, dipped as many as 10 times into the 17-carat Gold. We still recommend to avoid the contact with water as much as possible, however this layer is more long-lasting than ever before.

Some things never change: raw crystal jewelry that celebrates the REAL beauty of a woman
The idea and the inspiration behind the brand, of course, still remains the same. I design these rings with the aim to offer real, natural and raw jewelry that not only honours the beauty of the Mother Earth, but also of us, women. We are the nature anyways and only when we remember who we truly are and love our true essence, can we love the world and do great things.
First and foremost, always take care of your inner temple. Nothing as important as that. <3
