7 Directions Fire Ceremony
The Seven Directions Fire Ritual is a ceremonial space rooted in prayer, presence, and deep connection with the elements. It is inspired by indigenous traditions and wisdom teachings, where fire becomes a living altar — a place of offering, transformation, and communication with the unseen.
In this ritual, we gather around the fire to honor the seven directions:
East, South, West, North, Above, Below, and Within.
Each direction carries its own quality, its own teaching, its own energy — and together, they create a complete map of life, guiding us back into balance, into remembrance, and into relationship with the world around and within us.
What this ritual offers
This is a space to slow down, to listen, and mostly to reconnect — with yourself, with nature, and with something greater than you. Through guided prayer, music circle, intention, and offerings to the fire, we enter into a dialogue with life itself.
The ritual normally consists of:
- Invocation of the seven directions and their meanings
- Setting intentions and personal prayers
- Offering to the fire (herbs, flowers, words, songs, or silence)
- Moments of reflection, stillness, and deep presence
- Optional sharing or expression, if the space calls for it
The essence of the practice
Fire is one of the most ancient mediums in human history that invites us into connection with ourselves and something greater, for it has the ability to transform — to take what is heavy, unspoken, or unclear, and transmute it into light, into clarity, into movement.
This ritual is not about performing something “right,” but about arriving in authenticity.
About bringing your truth, your emotions, your questions, your gratitude — exactly as they are. It is a space where grief can be honored, gratitude can be expressed, intentions can be planted and connection can be restored.
At its core, this ritual is a living prayer. A remembering that we are not separate —
that we are in constant relationship with the elements, with the Earth, with each other, and with Spirit.
This ritual can be offered as part of retreats, festivals, or private gatherings, in both intimate and larger group settings.

Špela is not only my friend, but also my co-creator, business partner, and co-facilitator.
What inspires me most about her is her dedication to her work, her drive to bring visions into reality, and at the same time her loving approach, intuitive flow, and deep trust in the process.
With Špela, it always feels as though she acts from the place that is most supportive in that moment, both for herself and for everyone involved.
She continuously inspires and grounds others through her wisdom, life experience, and presence. She has a remarkable ability to see the bigger picture and approaches everything she does with great responsibility and care.
One of the most memorable experiences we shared was the fire ceremony during our journey to the Bosnian Pyramids in the autumn of 2025. The way she created a supportive space, gently guiding us into relationship with the fire and our prayers, touched me deeply.
And it wasn't only my experience. You could feel the entire group gradually opening with each prayer, becoming more vulnerable, authentic, and connected. From that moment onward, a softer and more heartfelt dynamic emerged within the group. Personally, I felt a profound release of a weight I had been carrying up until that point.
Špela is a true space holder in every sense of the word, and any ritual facilitated by her is an experience that unfolds on both a profound and elevated level.
